The Necklace

Every element of this pendant was hand carved from sterling silver, the curtain rod with its tiny ball finials, the two draped curtains with every fold and gather carved individually, the windowsill, and the tiny cat sitting at its center. The detail in those curtains is extraordinary up close, each one catching light differently depending on how you move. It is about 1 inch tall and surprisingly dimensional when you see it in person.

The pendant comes on an 18 inch sterling silver rope chain.

A Note from Tamara

I made this piece because not every cat moment is chaos. Sometimes they are just sitting in the window watching the birds and being completely, perfectly themselves. I wanted to make something that captured that quieter side of life with a cat, the part that makes all the knocked over plants and stolen seats entirely worth it.
