A Plant Between Two Cats

This is a very specific kind of chaos and if you have ever owned more than one cat and a houseplant you know it intimately. It happens in slow motion. One cat approaches from the left, strutting along the floor with complete confidence and absolutely zero remorse about whatever comes next. On the right, the second cat has already claimed the high ground, perched on top of a cabinet they were absolutely told not to be on, one paw raised and surveying the situation with great interest.

In the middle, the fiddle leaf fig stands in its pot, unaware that it has been chosen by both of them simultaneously. On the wall above, a tiny bookshelf holds a vase of twigs and two small books. Everything in this room is at risk. The plant is simply the most immediate concern.

This bracelet captures that exact moment, the one just before everything goes sideways, and keeps it perfectly preserved under glass on your wrist.

The Bracelet

Every single element of this tiny scene was hand cut from sterling and fine silver with great patience, each leaf of the fiddle leaf fig, each cat with its own distinct personality, the cabinet, the bookshelf, the vase of twigs, the tiny books, and the beautifully detailed tile floor beneath it all. The scene is set inside a round glass cabochon with a beaded sterling silver border, framing the whole moment like the most chaotic little portrait you have ever worn.

The bracelet chain is entirely hand fabricated from sterling silver links, 7.5 inches long in total with the center scene measuring 1 inch tall. The lobster clasp can be attached to any link along the chain making it fully adjustable to fit your wrist perfectly. On the back of the center piece you will find Max, my maker's mark, because every piece that leaves my studio carries a little piece of him with it.

A Note from Tamara

I made this bracelet for everyone who has ever owned two cats and a houseplant and spent a significant portion of their life saying "get down" and "leave it" and "why??" to creatures who have absolutely no intention of listening. The fiddle leaf fig in this scene is very brave. I respect it enormously. I hope whoever wears this bracelet does too.
