Gold Touched Stag Beetle and Turquoise Ring
Insects are such beautiful little beings, aren't they? I am in love with stag beetles and wanted to create a tiny shrine for them that we can wear and admire them. This little stag beetle was carved from my recycled fine silver and then given touches of real 24 karat gold to brighten her wing coverings, mandibles, veined wings, and a tiny stripe on her abdomen. She shines in the sunlight! Keum boo is an ancient Korean art technique where fine silver is melded with 24 karat gold through pressure and heat. The tiny jeweled beauty is set between two sky blue Morenci turquoise with the most amazing silver chunks of pyrite within. Both stones are hugged in real leaf patterned bezels and set with a dark veined leaf backplate. A double band keeps this work of art front of center on your favorite finger. My Maker's Mark featuring Max the striped cat has been stamped onto the back of this ring.
This one of a kind sterling, fine silver, and 24 karat gold plated ring was made into a size 8. A ring that will be treasured forever with never another like it.
Finished one of a kind designs such as this stag beetle ring will be packaged up and mailed off to you within 3-5 business days.
