In the forest, a toad and a snail are supposed to have a very different kind of relationship. But Timothy and Henry never got that memo.
Meet Timothy and Henry
In the wild, toads are natural predators of snails. They eat them, digest them, and release their nutrients back into the soil to help the forest grow. It is a perfectly practical arrangement. Scientists have even observed snails hitching rides on toads, clinging to their bumpy backs to travel further than they ever could on their own. The relationship between a toad and a snail is complicated, to say the least.
But Timothy the toad and Henry the snail have decided to do things differently. They are adventuring together through their little corner of the forest, Timothy sitting contentedly under his spring trillium flowers and ferns, and Henry making his unhurried way through the mushrooms to reach his friend. They are the smallest of companions doing the most important thing there is. Simply being together in the place they love most.
The Stone at the Heart of It All
At the center of this bracelet lives one of the most beautiful stones I have ever held in my hands. This is Morenci turquoise, mined in southeastern Arizona, and it stopped me in my tracks the moment I saw it. Morenci turquoise is known for its extraordinary deep blue color threaded through with chunks of golden pyrite, sometimes called fool's gold, that catch the light like little stars scattered across a stormy sky. I knew immediately that it deserved the most wonderful home I could build for it. I hope you think Timothy and Henry were the right choice.
The World Around the Stone
On the right side of the stone, Timothy sits beneath his trillium flowers and ferns. He is made from copper with a spotty silver belly, his little bumpy body covered in hand carved spots. He is very pleased with himself. On the left, Henry is making his slow and determined way through a cluster of hand carved mushrooms, complete with tiny spots on their caps. Every single element of this bracelet was made from scratch from molten silver and carved entirely by hand. Everywhere you look there is something new to discover.
The Craftsmanship
This bracelet is a one of a kind wearable fairytale. Every flower, every mushroom, every fern, and every creature was formed individually by hand from molten sterling silver and copper. No molds, no shortcuts, no two details exactly alike.
- Materials: Sterling silver, copper, and Morenci turquoise with pyrite

A Note on Wearing Your Bracelet
Open backed bracelets like this one are meant to be adjusted once upon first wearing to fit your wrist comfortably, and then taken on and off with minimal movement going forward. If you are unsure how to do this please reach out and I will happily walk you through it!
One of a Kind
There is only one Timothy and Henry in the world. When they find their home they will never be made again exactly like this.
A Note from Tamara
I made this bracelet because I love the idea of unlikely friendships in the natural world. Timothy and Henry are not supposed to be friends. But here they are, adventuring together through the mushrooms and the trilliums, completely unbothered by what they are supposed to do. I find that rather wonderful. I hope whoever brings them home does too.
